CORD offer GEAR UP Birmingham students in-depth, hands-on, inquiry-based science experiences during the school year. Students are also afforded the opportunity to participate in more intense programs in the form of camps during summer months. Students have access to CORD programming at several locations: Birmingham City Schools, CORD’s GENEius and LabWorks classrooms at the McWane Science Center, and CORD’s laboratory classrooms at UAB.
