The Alabama Community College System assists GEAR UP Birmingham parents and students with obtaining access to a post-secondary education.  Upon graduation from high school, all GEAR UP Birmingham students have the opportunity to qualify for tuition waivers valid at any institution with the Alabama Community College System. The parents and guardians of our students have also been granted access to those same tuition waivers and may apply for them right now.
